Totem Pole Ranch & Winery Hosts June Chapter Meeting
Cumberland Valley Trout Unlimited Hosts June Social Gathering at Totem Pole Ranch & Winery
On Wednesday, June 18th, Cumberland Valley Trout Unlimited (CVTU) hosted its monthly chapter meeting in a relaxed, social setting at Totem Pole Ranch & Winery, a valued CVTU sponsor located at 940 Cranes Gap Road in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. With no formal presentation scheduled, the evening offered an excellent opportunity for members of the fly fishing community to connect, share stories, and enjoy the scenic outdoors.
The event encouraged attendees to bring their fly tying kits, showcase their favorite flies, and swap fishing adventures—from the most successful outings to the funniest mishaps. Light snacks were provided, and members also brought their favorite treats to share. Totem Pole Ranch & Winery offered their craft beer, wine, and hard cider for purchase to guests over 21, creating a festive and welcoming atmosphere.
As a chapter committed to coldwater conservation, youth education programs, and stream restoration projects across south-central Pennsylvania, CVTU is proud to collaborate with local businesses that support our mission. This event was not only a social success but also an important reminder of the relationships that strengthen our work—from Trout in the Classroom and fly fishing education to habitat protection and advocacy.
