About YBAC: A Legacy of Conservation Since 1961

Founded in 1961 by dedicated trout anglers and conservationists, YBAC has played a vital role in protecting and enhancing the Yellow Breeches Creek.

As part of the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission Cooperative Nursery Program, YBAC raises fingerling trout to supplement state stockings. Club-raised trout are stocked along more than 20 miles of publicly accessible water — from two miles above Route 34 downstream to Williams Grove — including the Catch & Release section and Children’s Lake in Boiling Springs.

Stocking occurs at 28 locations and is scheduled to provide year-round fishing opportunities for the public.

YBAC also:

  • Sponsors five youth fishing derbies annually
  • Hosts a Special Needs Fishing Derby
  • Holds monthly membership and directors meetings
  • Welcomes new members who care about conservation and community

Strengthening Conservation Through Collaboration

CVTU and YBAC share a commitment to protecting clean, cold water and ensuring strong fisheries in the Yellow Breeches watershed and beyond.

By attending the 2026 YBAC Outdoor Show, you’re supporting:

  • Local conservation partnerships
  • Youth engagement in fishing
  • Trout stocking efforts
  • Community-driven outdoor education

Stop by the CVTU booth on February 28th, support YBAC, and help us continue building a stronger conservation community together.

We look forward to seeing you there.
