Each year, Cumberland Valley Trout Unlimited (CVTU) proudly hosts a free, family-friendly fly fishing event to honor and engage active duty service members, veterans, and first responders.
This special day is about more than fishing—it’s about connection, healing, and the calming power of nature. With the scenic Yellow Breeches Creek as our backdrop, we invite participants to experience the joy of fly fishing, camaraderie, and the supportive spirit of the CVTU community.
You do not need to be a CVTU member to attend.

No fishing license required – a special permit has been secured for the day.

About the Trout Unlimited Service Partnership
The TU Service Partnership began in the early 2000s when local chapters started working with veterans in their communities. What started as a few small efforts has grown into a nationwide initiative—reaching thousands of veterans each year through fly fishing, fellowship, and conservation.
All participants in the Service Partnership receive a free one-year Trout Unlimited membership.
