Fishing the Wild and Scenic Kettle Creek Valley
Join us April 16th for our CVTU membership meeting and a presentation on Fishing the Wild and Scenic Kettle Creek Valley by Gary Leone. Learn about an adventure in the remote and largely unspoiled area where native brook trout and wild brown trout thrive. Over 420 stream miles provide endless fly-fishing opportunities. More than 108 miles of Class A wild trout streams flow in the shadows of the steep mountains!

Gary Leone caught his first trout on Kettle Creek at 4 years old and began fly tying and fly fishing at 11. Growing up fishing the waters of central Pennsylvania and North Central Pennsylvania, his appreciation of nature has remained steadfast. Gary has been a Cumberland Valley Trout Unlimited board member for ten years. Living in Pennsylvania, upstate New York, and Michigan, Gary has advanced his knowledge on some of the best waters possible. Gary is beginning his guiding service after recently retiring from his career.
